Johnny Longhots is the charismatic Uncle John from Brooklyn who always has a good joke or an over-exaggerated story to tell about the neighborhood. Growing up in Brooklyn — much like in South Philly — you were often known by a nickname. Uncle John is known as "Johnny Longhots."
The name "Johnny" is not for the obvious — it's for being able to "handle" his Johnnie Walker Red. "Longhots" comes from his love of Italian Long Hots, which he puts on almost everything. He always says… "'Cause everything's better with Longhots!"
